It is the duty of the CMRIPS to serve and protect the public. The Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals Act and Regulatory Bylaws set out the CMRIPS' responsibilities to regulate and discipline members. Management of this responsibility is one of the most important roles that the organization has. In everything we do, the CMRIPS must ensure that its activities meet the duty of fairness and the duty of due process, which includes the responsibility to ensure procedural fairness and timely action.
