Mandate

In accordance with The Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals Act it is the duty of the College to serve and protect the public and to exercise its powers and discharge its responsibilities in the public interest and not in the interest of its members. The Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals regulates members from the following four disciplines:

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Magnetic Resonance Technology
  • Medical Radiological Technology
  • Medical Radiation Therapy
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology

The objective of the CMRIPS is to regulate the practice of the profession and to govern the members in accordance with the Act and the bylaws; and to assure the public of the knowledge, skill, proficiency and competency of members in the practice of medical radiation technology and diagnostic medical sonography.
